Oneida County Conservative Party Endorses Robert Smullen for Congress in NY-21

ONEIDA COUNTY, New York (February 18, 2026) – The Oneida County Conservative Committee endorsed Assemblyman Robert Smullen for Congress in New York’s 21st Congressional District, further strengthening his growing coalition of Republican and Conservative support across Upstate New York.

With this endorsement, Smullen continues to consolidate support from Conservative leaders across the district and is the presumptive nominee of the New York State Conservative Party. He will appear on the Conservative Party ballot line in November.

“I am honored to earn the endorsement of the Oneida County Conservative Committee,” said Smullen. “The Conservative Party has always stood for fiscal discipline, public safety, and defending our constitutional freedoms. I have fought for those values in Albany, and I will bring that same fight to Washington to support President Trump’s America First agenda. We must secure the border, back the blue, protect the Second Amendment, and put Upstate First.”

Smullen has been a consistent supporter of President Donald J. Trump and was appointed by President Trump to continue serving his country on the President’s Commission on White House Fellows. As Chairman of the Assembly Republican Conference, he has led efforts to push back against one-party rule in Albany and advance conservative priorities that align with the America First movement.

A retired Marine Corps Colonel, Smullen served 24 years in uniform, including three combat tours in Afghanistan, before continuing his public service in the New York State Assembly, where he has been re-elected three times.

Smullen has received endorsements from dozens of elected state and local leaders, unanimous county GOP endorsements in Essex, Franklin, Hamilton, and Washington counties, the unanimous Hamilton County Board of Supervisors endorsement, and the Warren County Conservative Party endorsement.
