New York State Conservative Party Endorses Robert Smullen for Congress, Making Smullen the Frontrunner in NY-21
GLOVERSVILLE, New York (February 10, 2026) – The New York State Conservative Party today announced its endorsement of Robert Smullen in the race for Congress in New York’s 21st Congressional District making him the undeniable frontrunner in this race and ensuring Smullen will appear on the general election ballot in November.
“It is an honor to earn the endorsement of the New York State Conservative Party in our race for Congress,” Smullen said. “This endorsement ensures that our campaign will be on the ballot in November, and it reinforces the importance of Republicans and Conservatives coming together to keep this seat in Republican hands.”
Smullen said the endorsement reflects the direction conservatives want to see the district take moving forward.
“I am running to stand with Donald Trump and fight for his America First agenda,” Smullen said. “That means restoring our economy, securing our borders, standing with law enforcement, and renewing American strength at home and abroad. Upstate New York deserves a proven conservative who will stand up to the woke left and deliver results.”
The endorsement, Smullen added, reflects his consistent record of supporting conservative principles and values.
“I have spent my time in public service fighting for conservative causes, not talking about them,” he said. “I am proud to be the only proven conservative in this race, and I am ready to take that record to Washington.”
Smullen also emphasized his commitment to continuing strong conservative representation for the district.
“I will continue the great work of Elise Stefanik, who was a fierce advocate for Upstate New York,” Smullen said. “Putting Upstate First means showing up, fighting hard, and never forgetting who you represent.”
